Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 22, 2026
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Summevo (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects information when you use our Service. We aim to collect the minimum information needed to operate Summevo and never sell your personal data.
2. Data We Collect
- Account data: email address, hashed password, display name and account preferences.
- Billing data: handled directly by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. We receive subscription status and order metadata; we do not see or store your full payment card details.
- Usage data: logs of API requests, signals viewed, watchlist activity, IP address, browser/user-agent and timestamps, used to operate the Service, prevent abuse and improve performance.
- Cookies: session cookies for authentication and a small number of essential cookies for preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
3. How We Use Data
- To provide and maintain the Service.
- To process subscriptions, send receipts and handle support requests.
- To send transactional emails (account, billing, security alerts) and, if you opt in, product updates.
- To monitor usage, debug issues and protect against fraud or abuse.
4. We Don’t Sell Your Data
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties. We share data only with the processors needed to run the Service (e.g. Lemon Squeezy for payments, our hosting and email providers), each bound by appropriate data-processing terms.
5. Data Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active. Usage logs are retained for up to 12 months for security and operational purposes. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. tax records).
6. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom or Türkiye, you have rights under the GDPR and equivalent local laws (including Türkiye’s KVKK), including the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”).
- Export your data in a portable format.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@summevo.com.
7. Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including TLS in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive fields, hashed passwords and least-privilege access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
Summevo is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice before they take effect.
